The base load of our energy consumption for electricity and heat will be covered by the sun in future.
To this end, we have expanded our PV system with 50 kWp. This will not only cover our electricity requirements during the day (when the sun is shining), but will also leave us with electricity left over.
Our old CHP unit has had its day and is being replaced by a heat pump. This not only covers the basic heat requirement, but also stores the heat in large buffer storage tanks when there is a PV surplus during the transitional period and can release it to the offices and factory halls at night.
Wärmepumpe
The Ochsner AIR 41 C12A heat pump is used. This is a highly efficient air/water heat pump with a heat output of 40 kW. At an outside temperature of 0°C, 1 kW of electrical power is required to generate just under 4 kW of heat; at 10°C, 5 kW of heat is generated.
PV-Anlage
We have increased our old PV system with 20 kWp by 50 kWp on the second hall roof to a total of 70 kWp. 126 modern modules with 400 Wp each on 242 m² the corresponding output
