Virtual project - our proven solution concept
Welcome to our Virtual project
The implementation of automation solutions differs individually for every customer. But every project needs a well thought-out structure and experienced management. Our virtual project shows individual steps of concept development and implementation from planning and design to commissioning in order to give you a first impression of our proven and successful solution concept.
1st step: Solution concept
Already the first conversations held on the shop floor in your production facility will help us develop a concept to solve your problem by drawing upon our knowledge of handling and installation engineering combined with the product-specific knowledge of our customers. The result will be a detailed technical solution specified in our offer.
2nd step: Planning
As a first step after order award, we will set up a competent project team specialising in your individual requirements. This team will work together with you to define every single step of implementation in a general concept, give advice on problems and questions from your side, and present various alternatives with a view to achieving an optimum and economically efficient automation solution tailored to your company. A first image of your special-purpose machine will be created at this stage.
3rd step: Design
During the design stage, our creative development engineers will draw up detailed designs for your automation solution. To do so, we will apply our modular system of design components based on the experience of many years. Three-dimensional CAD systems will be used to prepare detailed design drawings which provide a sound basis for optimising the design of your machine in terms of both costs and time. This will convert the first picture into clear designs.
4th step: Electrical design
Electrical design will be ensured using the EPLAN E-CAD software. This allows the generation of a service-friendly documentation.
5th step: Manufacture and assembly
All engineered component parts will be produced on 5 and 4-axes CNC machining centres and be assembled to special-purpose machines by our industrial mechanics and mechatronic fitters in the manufacturing department of HENKEL + ROTH GmbH. Readable data are derived for the CNC machine tools directly from three-dimensional engineering models. CAM data are archived in order to allow the manufacture of spare parts at short notice at any time.
6th step: Construction of control units
Working in close cooperation with electrical design, the electrical department ensures the implementation of the planned control concepts, including both the construction of control cabinets and the electrical integration of external control components. Switchgear will meet all standards required for CE marking, and will be tested and documented according to VDE and EN standards as applicable in every case.
7th step: Software development
The ever-increasing demands and growing complexity of automation require well thought-out hardware and software planning. Our software development team - experienced software architects in the automation sector - models and programs the software specifically adapted to your machine. We attach great importance to the operator and service friendliness of the systems.
8th step: Commissioning
The commissioning of your systems takes place through particularly intensive cooperation between the entire project team. At this stage, the system concept is critically reviewed for further optimization potential and partially adapted. After the trial run of the individual stations, a final endurance test of the entire system is carried out. Only then do we present it to you for initial acceptance. After successful acceptance, the system is transported to your company and put into operation there.
9th step: Service and maintenance
Our service team cooperates with our specialist departments to ensure quick and competent trouble-shooting and spare parts procurement. In addition, we are also offering maintenance contracts tailored to your needs.
